What a Polish vehicle sale contract must contain
The contract must identify both parties with their addresses and ID document numbers, describe the vehicle unambiguously (make, model, production year, VIN, registration number, mileage), state the price in figures and in words, and give the date and place of signing. It takes effect once both parties have signed.
What to do after signing
The buyer has 30 days to register the vehicle and 14 days to file the PCC-3 declaration and pay the 2% transaction tax. The seller has 30 days to report the sale to the registration office and to notify the insurer.
