Promoting listings
How are listings ranked in search results?
By default we sort results by relevance and date — the best-matching, newest listings sit higher. Buyers can change the sort order themselves, for example by price. Paid promotion services lift your listing's visibility above this default order.
What does a bump do?
A bump moves your listing to the top of the results list in its category — as if you'd just posted it. It's a one-off visibility boost; over time newer listings overtake it again, so you can bump it once more. The number of bumps depends on your package, and you can also buy individual bumps with MotoCoins.
What does highlighting do?
Highlighting makes your listing stand out visually on the list — a stronger border and background help it catch the eye as buyers browse. It works independently of position: your listing stays where it is but draws more attention.
What do top results do?
Top results keep your listing at the top of the list for the whole duration of the service — not just for a moment after a bump. It's guaranteed, constant visibility at the top of the category results.
Package or individual MotoCoins services?
You have two routes. Packages (basic, optimal, premium) bundle publication with a set of promotion services for 30 days — handy when you want everything at once. Alternatively, top up your wallet with MotoCoins and buy individual bumps, highlights or top results whenever you need them. You'll find prices and a comparison on the pricing page.
Does promotion guarantee a sale?
No — promotion increases your listing's visibility, i.e. how many people see it. The buyer's decision also depends on photos, description and price. A good listing and promotion work best together.
